Hi, I’m Ina Wanca, a visionary, an innovator, and a builder of futures in AI and space.

Today, I’m recognized for my leadership in AI, innovation, space and cultivating a culture of transformation. As the founder of X-Volante, I help corporations scale AI solutions that drive real, measurable impact. I also lead SpaceBillions, connecting corporations to the commercial space economy through strategies, partnerships, and education—bringing space and cutting-edge tech closer to the everyday world.

But life wasn’t always this way…

Growing up by the Black Sea in Bulgaria, I was filled with curiosity about what lay beyond. The sea and stars seemed endless, and I wanted to know why. So, I took the leap, left Bulgaria, and came to the U.S., determined to build my future from scratch.

My first job was in compliance at Bloomberg, then I moved into insurance, managing multiple roles while diving deep into AI and cybersecurity. But I didn’t stop there. I launched an AI lab at the Crime Commission, self-funded, where I worked with students and industry to pioneer tools for cybersecurity. That led me to consulting, and I eventually started x-Volante to scale AI solutions for corporations.

When I joined Mastercard, I brought AI into the mainstream, creating an award-winning portfolio, the industry’s first AI space-NFT, and founding Women in AI to drive female representation. I partnered with Carnegie Mellon to experiment and develop the first AI workforce cybersecurity tool, designed to shape how we approach AI in education and cybersecurity.

Fast forward, and I’ve collaborated with top Fortune 500s, NGOs, and even space agencies, lecturing at universities like NYU and John Jay College to empower future leaders. I’ve trained over 20,000 people in responsible AI, bridging innovation with ethical impact.

Here’s the bottom line: I’ve spent my career solving complex problems, navigating global compliance, and building bridges between innovation and impact.
